Remembering...

Notice the man in the wheelchair is the only one standing....
I received this in an e-mail and found it very fitting:

It is the Veteran, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of press.
It is the Veteran, not the poet, who gave us freedom of speech.
It is the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who gave us freedom to assemble.
It is the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Veteran, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Veteran who salutes the flag.
It is the Veteran who serves under the flag (see above photo...they serve under it in both life and death).

May we all take the day to remember what it really all is about. Thank you Veterans our country would be nothing without you!
Happy remembrance day to all my friends-thank a Veteran!
